Private Nature and Public Good

Overview

Certain operations and programs at The Ikoku Services have as part of their purposes the aim to enhance public benefit in communities and societies. So it is important to make clear the relationship between the private nature of The Ikoku Services and any commitment the division and the Founder may make toward the public good.

Therefore, persons engaged in any activity involving, referring to, relating to, or otherwise pertaining to The Ikoku Services are expected to uphold the following:

Private and Single-Interestholder Nature

— that The Ikoku Group and The Ikoku Services be private in status, including with respect to company, corporate, divisional and organizational form and formation, administration, management, and operation as well as interests, share and stock distribution.

— that The Ikoku Group and The Ikoku Services be single-member in status, including with respect to company, corporate, divisional and organizational form and formation, administration, management, and operation as well as interests, share and stock distribution.

— that The Ikoku Group and The Ikoku Services be single-interest-, share- and stockholder in status, including with respect to company, corporate, divisional and organizational form and formation, administration, management, and operation as well as interests, share and stock distribution.

— that the sole interest-, share- and stockholder and member of The Ikoku Group and The Ikoku Services be Alvan Azinna Chibuzo Ikoku, the Founder and Owner.

General Public Benefit

— that The Ikoku Group have and maintain a commitment to enhance general public benefit, and foster that commitment primarily through The Ikoku Philanthropies division.

Specific Public Benefit

— that The Ikoku Group have the right to limit and specify its commitment to specific public benefit purposes.

— that the sole person and entity with powers to amend, limit, specify and select the above public benefit purposes be Alvan Azinna Chibuzo Ikoku, the Founder and Owner, by express written instrument signed and sealed.

Review and Reporting

— that The Ikoku Group ensure accurate and periodic review of public benefit impact via appropriate methods.

—that The Ikoku Group obtain, keep current and comply with required public benefit accreditation or certification and reporting requirements of applicable law and regulation.

Sole Approval, Authorization and Right of Action

— that The Ikoku Group ensure that all decisions regarding public benefit, including its purposes, operations, review, and reporting require authorization and final approval by express written instrument signed and sealed of Alvan Azinna Chibuzo Ikoku, the Founder and Owner.

— that The Ikoku Group ensure that the sole person or entity with right of action pertaining to any of the aforementioned is Alvan Azinna Chibuzo Ikoku, the Founder and Owner.

Accordance with Ethics

— that The Ikoku Services ensure following any and all of the above principles further remains in accordance with the Codes and Policies and especially the Founding and Governing Code of Ethics.

Accordance with Mission

— that The Ikoku Services ensure following any and all of the above principles further remains in accordance with the founding mission and purposes of The Ikoku Services and The Ikoku Group, without incompatibility, as described and delineated in the Codes and Policies and the Founder’s Agreement.

As stated earlier, The Ikoku Services User Agreement and Code of Conduct consist of several Codes and Policies that collectively govern all of your activity with, within, for or pertaining to The Ikoku Services (as well as the divisions, series, subsidiaries, and affiliates). By continuing, you indicate that you understand that the Codes and Policies include — but are not limited to — the Founding and Mission Statement, the Founding and Governing Code of Ethics, the Policy on Privacy and Confidentiality, the Terms and Conditions of Use and Service, and the Acceptable Uses Policy along with all Associated Codes and Policies. The Ikoku Services strongly recommends you develop and maintain your knowledge of all the Codes and Policies, and so asks that you read, understand, and regularly visit this section and other communications regarding the Policy on Private Nature and Public Good, as well as the Codes and Policies. The Ikoku Services takes your continued access, activity, communication, engagement, operation, participation, and other use or visiting of the Products and Services, as active indication of your knowledge, understanding, and legally binding acceptance of and agreement to this Policy as well as the Codes and Policies.

Your Duty to Organizational Integrity

With respect to your attendant duty to organizational integrity — and your legally binding agreement to not diminish, interfere, or violate, in any way, its principles, protections, requirements, or rights — you represent and warrant that you understand and shall adhere to the following:

To protect the organizational integrity of The Ikoku Services and The Ikoku Group — as well as the properties, rights, and protections of the company division and its official persons — The Ikoku Services requires all natural and legal persons concerned to read, understand, abide by and, where applicable, sign contracts and agreements delineated and described in the Policy on Company and Division Integrity.
Your Acceptance of Policy
The Ikoku Services reminds you that the Policy on Company and Division Integrity forms part of The Ikoku Services User Agreement and Code of Conduct. Thus, The Ikoku Services takes your continued engagement in any activity involving, referring, relating, or otherwise pertaining to The Ikoku Services as active indication of your legally binding acceptance of this Policy as well as the Codes and Policies.
Your Acceptance of Sole Ownership
Furthermore, you represent, warrant, and covenant that, given the above, your continuation in using or visiting, in any way, The Ikoku Services, any activities, affairs, areas, assets, offices, parts, properties, sections, or equivalent of The Ikoku Services, any activities, affairs, areas, assets, offices, parts, properties, sections, or equivalent of the divisions, series, subsidiaries, or affiliates, as well as any activities, affairs, areas, assets, offices, parts, properties, sections, or equivalent of the Products or Services, is an active indication of your legally binding acceptance of the sole administration, control, management, and ownership of The Ikoku Services by the Founder, Alvan Azinna Chibuzo Ikoku, as further described in the Policy on Company and Division Integrity.

And you further legally accept and agree that no application, interpretation, judgment, or other compliance, proceeding, or reading from, of, with, or otherwise relating to the Founding Ethics, the Codes and Policies, or any equivalent code, policy, or other document or material shall, in any way, entail any abrogation, diminishment, interference, or violation pertaining to any of the terms, conditions, principles, requirements, rights — including the attendant properties and protections — of company and organizational integrity.
